A student report: On Tuesday, 14th of October 2014, the participants of the MCM Master Exchange Program of the University of Salzburg and te Fudan University in Shanghai went on a trip to Munich and visited the media companies Huffington Post Germany and BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk). The students learned about the structure pof these companies, the difficulties between private and public broadcasting und the increasing significance of Social Media. This article outlines what the sudents were able to learn during the fieldtrip as well as through the following discussions.
